‘Here’s a Little Song About a Man Gone Wrong’: Joan Baez Wrote a Song About Donald Trump

Joan Baez has been writing and performing protest and social justice songs for more than 55 years. This week — the week she’ll be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — she’s released her newest tune called “Nasty Man,” about President Donald Trump. Baez posted a video of the song to her Facebook page Tuesday, April 4th, and since then it’s been seen over 2 million times, and shared more than 50,000 times.

The song begins with the words, “Here’s a little song / About a man gone wrong,” and continues in the same biting manner up until the final jab, “When the dirt on this man / Finally hits the fan / And no one gives a damn about his tweets / He’ll be finally and forever obsolete.”
