The Hillary Clinton book promo tour continued Wednesday night on Anderson Cooper: 360. And in her chat with Anderson Cooper, the 2016 Democratic Presidential nominee made clear her belief that there is a connection of some sort between President Donald Trump and Russia.
“I’m convinced there was communication,” Clinton said. “I’m convinced there were meetings and phone calls. I’m convinced that there were financial entanglements. Let’s wait to see what it’s called. I’m convinced that there was something going on.”
Asked by host Anderson Cooper if she believes the investigation into Russian election interference is a bigger story than Watergate, the former Secretary of State responded in the affirmative.
“I think it’s probably bigger than Watergate because it is about the future,” Clinton said. “We no longer are worried about spies and provocateurs dressed in black stealing information. They do it sitting in the offices of the Russian military intelligence and other related venues and they get into the core of our life now through the computer networks.”
