Hillary: ‘I’ve Thought a Lot About’ People Saying I’m Untrustworthy

Hillary Clinton today addressed the criticism that a lot of voters have for her––she’s simply untrustworthy.

“I know I have work to do on this front,” she said. “A lot of people tell pollsters they don’t trust me. Now, I don’t like hearing that, and I’ve thought a lot about what’s behind it.”

She said that this is likely because of “25 years worth of wild accusations” and said, “You can’t just talk someone into trusting you, you’ve got to earn it”

Clinton also seemed to respond to the idea that she is too calculated in what she says, arguing that she’s careful with her words not because she’s “hiding something” but because “what you say actually matters.”
