It’s Day 2 at The Championships Wimbledon, and the first day of action for a number of big stars.
Most notably, seven-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer takes to Centre Court to begin his quest for a 19th Grand Slam title. He’ll square off against Alexandr Dolgopolov in the last match of the day on the featured court.
Preceding him on Centre Court will be second seeded Novak Djokovic, who’s had a disappointing 2017 in the Slams thus far, losing in the second round and the quarters at the Australian Open and French Open respectively. Djokovic goes up against Martin Klizan in his first round match Tuesday.
On the Ladies’ side, No. 1 seed Angelique Kerber begins her Wimbledon by taking on Irina Falconi. Kerber is looking to break through at the All England Club this fortnight, after losing a tough straight-sets battle to Serena Williams a year ago. Kerber has yet to win a Grand Slam in 2017, after conquering the Australian Open and U.S. Open.
Coverage begins at 7:00 a.m. ET, and will continue throughout the day. ESPN will air it live in all time zones. It will also be streamed online, via WatchESPN, free with a cable subscription. The Watch ESPN app can be downloaded from the iTunes store and the Google Play store.
