Hunter Biden On Whether Trump Is Hiding Something In Epstein Files: ‘What A Silly Question!’

Former first son Hunter Biden called it a “silly question” when asked if President Donald Trump, is hiding something by not releasing the so-called Epstein Files.

Hunter Biden sat down for a rare three-hour-plus interview on Substack this week on a wide variety of topics that included extensive commentary about Trump.

In one exchange, Hunter tried to remember if he’d ever met Trump as a kid, and said the reason for not releasing the Epstein Files is probably the most obvious one:

TOMMY CHRISTOPHER: Tell me your, um, give me your take on the Epstein files. I don’t remember you speaking about that. Well, first of all, yeah. Well, actually, I’m going to jump ahead to my last one of my last questions, which is, have you ever met Trump personally, in person?

HUNTER BIDEN: Uh, yeah, but a long, long, time ago.

TOMMY CHRISTOPHER: Alright, tell me about that.

HUNTER BIDEN: Wait a second, did, I’m trying to think. No, I don’t think I, well, I mean, when I say a long time ago, like when I was a kid in the 80s at some event that my dad was at, look, I’m mean, here’s the thing, is that, you know, I mean, Trump came to the–

TOMMY CHRISTOPHER: Well, okay. So when you were a kid and you saw him, was he with Epstein, did you? (LAUGHS) That would be a scoop man!

HUNTER BIDEN: That would be a scoop.

TOMMY CHRISTOPHER: Maybe he was there, I don’t know, all right. Yeah, yeah. So, well, okay, so, but I mean, what could just give me a, first of all, do you have any, you know, is there any, like, chatter that you’ve heard about it going through the years? And what’s your take on what’s–.

HUNTER BIDEN: No.

TOMMY CHRISTOPHER: –you now, why is, do you think Trump’s hiding something, all this business?

HUNTER BIDEN: But I do it. Here’s the thing. Here’s what I think about it. What what what a silly question! Is Trump hiding something? (LAUGHS) Come on!

Like, by the way, this isn’t me just being a conspiracy theorist. It’s not because I don’t like Trump or it’s not like it’s like it.

Like he’s gone. all of his supporters have gone from. In calling it the biggest cover up in the history of the world. To a Democratic hoax!

I don’t get it. I mean, well I do get it, I mean I fully get it.

And by the way, this whole like idea that is just, I don t care, it’s not, my commentary about this is completely based off of just what I’ve read. I have no insider information whatsoever, no personal information other than–.

You know, I’ve listened to Michael Wolff. I listen to the same people that you probably do on the news, and the only thing that I know is this, is that they were hell-bent on releasing the Epstein files, and now they’re not. What’s the explanation?

I’ve been told many times that I’m using the technical term as it relates to Occam’s Razor incorrectly when I say.

But let’s just say it this way, whether it’s Occam’s Razor or whether it is just the simplest explanation seems to usually be the accurate one.

The simplest explanation in this instance seems to be, whether its about him or whether its people that he is protecting, is that they’re clearly not releasing what they’re not releasing to protect someone.
