In One Tweet Responding to Geraldo Rivera, Laurie Dhue Destroys Fox News — And Then She Deleted It

Today has been a banner day for Geraldo Rivera‘s Twitter account!

First, the Donald Trump‘s son quote-tweeted him and seemingly admitted his father tried to obstruct a little justice here and there. Now, Laurie Dhue is using the Fox News host’s tweets to send her own message, too!

In what looks like an attack on leakers in the White House, Rivera tweeted this…

Whatever you think of @realDonaldTrump imagine how daunting it is to go to work each day surrounded by rats

…and Dhue responded like this:

Sadly, as you can see, she deleted the tweet. We didn’t get to screengrab it from Twitter, but we do still have it in the Mediaite Slack:

You’ll recall that Dhue’s name cropped back up last summer when Roger Ailes was accused of sexual harassment. The former Fox News anchor was reportedly shopping around a book that would address her interactions with him.

She didn’t need a book to make her point here! Still, she was careful to point out that Rivera wasn’t her target.
