Internet Melts Down Over Trump’s Game of Thrones Announcement of Iran Sanctions: ‘This is F*cking Weird’

The Twitterverse did a collective spit-take on Friday when they found out about the really…unusual tweet President Donald Trump put out teasing his administration’s next steps relating to Iran.
The White House is preparing to reimpose sanctions that were lifted under the 2015 nuclear deal, and Trump tweeted out a very Game of Thrones / movie poster-ish picture of himself declaring that “sanctions are coming” to stir up interest in the formal announcement on Monday

To reassure you that this is NOT a parody account, here’s the White House’s official Twitter page endorsing the picture as well.

If the @realDonaldTrump administration spent as much brain power and material resources into conceiving its “new” #Iran policy as they have in its marketing campaign, then America’s in trouble. https://t.co/Sknovv0M0v
