Joe Biden Has Had Trouble Remembering Which States He’s Been Campaigning In

During the last several weeks of campaigning leading up to the election, it’s no surprise that Vice President Joe Biden has been traveling quite a bit. Along the way, he’s been getting a bit mixed up about exactly where he is.

Biden is making his way through Florida today, where he made the mistake of not remembering where he was. During his remarks, he referred to the Cleveland Plain Dealer as “one of the major newspapers in this state.” The paper is based in Ohio.

Last week, while actually in Ohio, Biden made a similar flub. The vice president told his audience about “the guy who’s running all the ads here in Iowa saying he’s going to get tough on China.”

Back in September, also in Ohio, Biden said, “That’s why for those of you struggling to send your kid to school, to college, or to keep your kid in a college, whether it’s a community college or a Wayne State University.” Wayne State is in Michigan. Biden was at Wright State, a correction that the crowd quickly made for him.

Earlier yet, back in August, Biden made another mistake — this time in Virginia. An energized Biden instead told the crowd, “With your help, we can win North Carolina again!”

Oops.
