Director Judd Apatow isn’t too thrilled about venues allowing Bill Cosby to perform as he remains silent about the dozens of allegations of misconduct, sexual assault, and rape against him. And he called out two of those venues for going ahead with his appearances:
so @Centre_Square – are you really going to let Bill Cosby perform on your stage January 7?
— Judd Apatow (@JuddApatow) December 27, 2014
You too @BudGardens Jan 8? Is Cosby only popular in Ontario Canada at this point? Do people still find him delightful after 30 accusers?

Now, in fairness to the one of those venues, Centre Square does have a legitimate financial reason why, even if they wanted to, they can’t just call off Cosby’s upcoming show (and Apatow retweeted someone pointing it out to him).
But Apatow also got into it with people who were a bit more skeptical of all the claims made by multiple women against Cosby:
“@woofmachine: @JuddApatow @Centre_Square innocent until Proven”. He should speak publicly about how false this all is. 30 alibis.

“@mikeandrewb: @JuddApatow @Centre_Square and ur obsession is because…?” I guess it's because guys who rape a lot aren't cool.

.@MuttonJeremy @Centre_Square In fact I did retweet the article about how it is hard to cancel Cosby. I get it. But he shouldn't perform.

@Cat__Jazzy read up on it. Watch the videos of the victims. I think you will find compassion for what they suffered through.

@cherri_may it is not extortion when most of the accusers do not want anything. These are much older woman who suffered for decades.

.@nvraine @Centre_Square I always wonder why some people try so hard to not believe women who have been assaulted. What is the root of that?
