Kevin Sorbo Thinks Bill Maher Hates God Because He’s ‘Angry and Lonely’

Last Friday Bill Maher delivered a blistering takedown of the Bible and the idea of God being a “psychotic mass murderer” people are expected to worship. Well, during an interview with Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg Monday, Christian actor Kevin Sorbo weighed in on Maher’s commentary and said, “All I can do is feel sad for the guy, ’cause I think he’s a very angry and lonely man.”

Sorbo wondered must have happened in Maher’s life to make him so angry about God. He said he knows a lot of atheists who aren’t angry about religion, they just simply don’t believe. Sorbo added, “There’s no reason to try and talk to a guy like that because he has so much hate.”

Sorbo’s remarks were certainly a lot tamer than those of Bryan Fischer, who said Maher has avoided being struck down by God thus far because God is merciful and wants to give Maher a chance to repent.
