Kim Kardashian Tells Donald Trump to Get Off Twitter and Help Puerto Rico

Two reality stars going at it on Twitter is typically not especially newsworthy, but when Kim Kardashian is responding to a national tragedy better than the President of the United States, things change.

President Donald Trump spent his weekend firing off tweets attacking the media, Democrats, and even a Puerto Rican mayor. One of such tweets said, “To the people of Puerto Rico: Do not believe the #FakeNews! #PRStrong” — to which Kim K responded by demanding that the president log-off Twitter, stop golfing, and help his fellow Americans struggling on the Caribbean island.

It seems the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is winning the Twitter beef, as her reply to the president was four times more popular than his original tweet decrying “#FakeNews.”

As for her own response to Puerto Rico’s hurricane devastation, Kim has called the disaster heartbreaking, promised to give her personal money to help those impacted, and asked her 55 million Twitter followers to donate as well.

Kim has not been sticking-to-entertainment for awhile now, as the reality TV star has gotten political by advocating for Hillary Clinton, attacking the Wall Street Journal for denying the Armenian genocide, and tweeting a Bible verse protesting the end of DACA.

Kim isn’t the only one upset at the administration’s response to Puerto Rico’s struggles, as Mayor of San Juan Carmen Yulín Cruz responded to Homeland Security Secretary Elaine Duke — who called aid to the island “a really good news story — by saying, “Dammit, this is not a good news story. This is a people are dying story. This is a life or death story.”
