Kristol: Unlike ‘Everyday American’ Cheney, Hillary Just ‘Mingling with the Peasants’

When asked on ABC’s This Week who is the “most promising” Republican not running for president, Bill Kristol brought up a certain former vice president. He said, “If they get to nominate Hillary Clinton, why don’t we get to nominate Dick Cheney?”

Well, Kristol spoke with Newsmax TV’s Steve Malzberg today about that interesting pick, and Kristol defended his choice by talking about how relatable Cheney is, especially compared to Clinton.

Kristol argued that Cheney could easily fit in in states like Ohio and Iowa because he is “an everyday American,” whereas Clinton’s goal on the campaign trail is just “mixing and mingling with the peasants out there.”

And he twice invoked Clinton’s now-infamous Chipotle stop yesterday both to bash her and say Cheney would have been much more relatable and average American-like and et cetera.
