Limbaugh: Cheney’s Right, ‘We Empowered the Muslim Brotherhood’

Rush Limbaugh yesterday agreed with Dick Cheney‘s sentiments that Obama administration policy in dealing with the Muslim Brotherhood ended up facilitating Islamic extremism and helping ISIS get to where it is today.

Cheney told Republicans in a closed-door meeting that President Obama was “facilitating the Muslim Brotherhood” and spurred on groups like Hamas and ISIS.

Limbaugh agreed, saying, “We got rid of Mubarak in Egypt, we empowered the Muslim Brotherood. What were we told? ‘They’re the peaceful Islamists. The Brotherhood is the moderates.'”

And so the U.S., Limbaugh charged, was actually supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and the Arab Spring was all about establishing a new caliphate.
