Limbaugh Defends Carson from Politico: ‘Assassination Attempt,’ ‘Electronic Lynching’
Rush Limbaugh really tore into Politico today over what he deemed an “assassination attempt” against Ben Carson.
Carson admitted he did not receive a scholarship despite saying in a past book he offered one, but there’s been a lot of conservative blowback over how Politico and other outlets framed the report. Politico itself changed its own headline after complaints by the Carson campaign that they lied.
Limbaugh declared today “this an assassination attempt” and said the media is trying to end Carson’s run for the presidency “by telling an outright lie and then accusing the campaign of lying and admitting to lying.”
He called it “horrible” and “infuriating,” even going so far as to call it an “electronic lynching being conducted against the Republican African-American candidate by a majority-white mainstream American liberal media.”
Limbaugh said to the liberal media, if you’re not a good liberal or a good African-American on their “plantation,” they will take you out.
