Limbaugh Fires Back at Harry Reid: He’s Just Not Being Honest About Injury

Senator Harry Reid suffered an injury a few months ago that may have left him permanently blind in one eye, but there have been truthers out there questioning the validity of his story, including Rush Limbaugh. In a CNBC interview today, Reid scolded Limbaugh for perpetuating such things and said, “It shows the credibility of Rush Limbaugh, he’s the guy who got all this started.”

Limbaugh responded on his radio show hours later by going into a whole spiel about what he believes happened, heavily citing a PowerLine story with an account from someone who claims that Reid was beat up by his brother Larry Reid and didn’t fall off an exercise machine.

Limbaugh said he was on the phone with PowerLine’s John Hinderaker and they both listened to this man’s claims. And he believes that the inferences this man makes are fairly reasonable, while insisting it was not exactly him who started the rumors.

The radio host concluded: “It’s clear from the pictures that an exercise machine in a bathroom did not do what happened to Harry Reid. Is it not?”
