Limbaugh: Obamacare is a ‘Wrecking Ball So Big, Not Even Miley Cyrus Would Ride It’
Rush Limbaugh probably did not know much about Miley Cyrus before he declared her MTV Video Music Awards performance “just short of pornography” this past summer. But on his show today, he used the singer’s recent single to explain just how big of a “Wrecking Ball” Obamacare will be to the economy.
Limbaugh began by predicting how much worse the news would be this week “if all of those 2,500 businesses and unions and others had not received Obamacare waivers.” He predicted that once those waivers expire, “the full weight of the evil of Obamacare is going to end up being a wrecking ball so big, not even Miley Cyrus would ride it.”
The radio host went on to weigh in on recent comments from actor Morgan Freeman, who criticized conservatives for allowing themselves to be controlled by “strange people” like Limbaugh. He said that the way things are going, “We might even get Morgan Freeman to agree with us before this is all said and done.”
Later, Limbaugh quoted a Fox News poll that said Democrats are increasingly dissatisfied with the direction in which the country is going. “So Obama’s not losing these precious independents; he’s losing his base,” he said. “And yet the news media says it’s the Republicans that need to reinvent themselves.”
