Mitt Romney Will Let Evander Holyfield Hit Him for Charity
Mitt Romney is getting in the boxing ring with Evander Holyfield and no, this is not a joke.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports that Romney and the heavyweight champ will battle for charity in two months. The event will raise money for Charity Vision, an organization aimed at providing proper medical care all around the world to treat blindness.
And for that, Romney is willing to get roughed up a bit.
In talking about the fight, the former presidential candidate said, “It will either be a very short fight, or I will be knocked unconscious. It won’t be much of a fight. We’ll both suit up and get in the ring and spar around a little bit.”
The event will feature actual, real fights after the Romney-Holyfield one, though frankly, it would be a riot to see more politicians subjecting themselves to a light beating.
