‘Never Been as Wrong On Anything On My Life’: David Plouffe Reacts To Election Results
With things going in a way different direction than Democrats and Hillary Clinton envisioned going into the day, Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign manager took to Twitter to offer a mea culpa.
After earlier bragging about how he was getting ready to watch Clinton’s victory speech, David Plouffe explained that he had been very wrong.
Never been as wrong on anything on my life. Still a beating heart in WI and the 2 CDs. But sobriety about what happened tonight is essential

He also tweeted out that he had to talk to his kids and once again apologized.
I'm sorry everyone. Had to talk to my kids. Wrong and remarkably so. But the idea of our country has always been stronger than an election.

Despite what all election forecasters had as a almost a certain victory for Clinton, Donald Trump knocked off a number of swing states early in the night and broke into Clinton’s so-called blue firewall.
