NJ Gov. Chris Christie Releases Video Of His Accomplishments So Far, But Why…
When Sarah Palin released her “Mama Grizzlies” ad a week and a half ago, pundits were buzzing about how much it looked like a presidential campaign ad. Well, today, another star of the GOP released a polished looking YouTube video, y’know, just because. This time the video is from New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and it’s entitled “How Do You Like New Jersey Now?” That’s a strange title. it doesn’t sound like something you’d be asking people from New Jersey exactly. It’s almost as if the video is directed at the rest of America…for some reason…
Videos of Christie being released over the past few months have had many Republicans throughout the country fairly enchanted. One of the most popular videos showed him shouting down an angry teacher who wasn’t happy with his proposed budget cuts. Videos like that have made him a pretty divisive figure, alternately being called a bully and a hero. This most recent video features no yelling, just a happy rock song in the background and cute cartoon arrows. Now that his tough guy persona has captured some conservative devotees, this softer image might be just the trick to scoop up the rest.
So, is this video a sign of things to come? Only time will tell.
