Obama Admits Dems Have ‘Worst Possible’ Senate Map in Decades

 

President Obama admitted in a radio interview today that this year’s midterms are just a really bad set of states for the Democrats, in comments possibly trying to blunt a potential Republican wave head-on before it’s official.

“It tends to be a little bit arbitrary which seats are really going to be contested and which aren’t,” Obama said. “So, for example, in this election cycle, this is probably the worst possible group of states for Democrats since Dwight Eisenhower.”

Whatever tonight’s outcome, the White House has already made it clear how Obama will approach the results:

Mere weeks ago the president was bemoaning how Democratic voters aren’t really that riled up for the midterms.
