Other ‘Verifiable Facts’ for Fox to Investigate About Your Favorite Christmas Characters

 

Much has been made about the Wednesday evening Kelly File segment in which four adults discussed the “verifiable fact” that fictional (sorry, kids) Christmas character Santa Claus is a white guy. They seemingly meant that it is a “fact” that Claus is based upon a series of Norse and European folklores that center around white men, thus resulting in the Santa we know today.

But any way you dice it, however, can we all agree it’s just a tad silly to devote 7-10 minutes of primetime cable news to asserting “verifiable facts” about a fictional character based on pagan and Christian origins who brings gifts as part of holiday tradition based on an amalgamation of pagan and Christian ritual?

As a fun little poke at The Kelly File, here are a few suggestions for other “verifiable facts” the Fox News show should investigate about your favorite Christmas characters:
