Palin at GOP Dinner: Illegal Immigrants Being Enticed Here with ‘Gift Baskets’
Sarah Palin is speaking at a Milwaukee GOP dinner tonight and said something that’s raised a few eyebrows on Twitter:
Sarah Palin just said that immigrants are being enticed over the border with gift baskets (???)

In Milwaukee, Sarah Palin says illegal immigrants who come across Mexican border get "gift baskets with soccer balls."

This is a reference to how two years ago, Glenn Beck brought care packages with soccer balls, teddy bears, and other items to illegal immigrant children at the border. Cruz participated, with a spokesperson explaining they believe these children to be “very real victims of the President’s promise of amnesty.”
And based on some other tweets from the dinner, it didn’t exactly get the best reception:
