PETA Condemns Tomi Lahren For Kicking Her Dog During Fox News Hit

Infamous conservative pundit Tomi Lahren has added to her list of “haters,” as the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) called out the Fox News contributor after she admitted to kicking her dog “five times.”

In what Lahren claims was a “joke,” the right-wing heroine posted a story on her Instagram account lecturing her dog Kota about bothering her during TV hits.

“Why don’t you tell the world what you were doing during my entire ‘Fox & Friends’ hit?” Lahren said. “Oh I know, chewing on her damn bone as loud as she possibly could. So I had to kick her about five times during the show.”

In response to the post, PETA official Stephanie Bell issued a statement condemning Lahren’s actions: “Only a heartless person would kick a dog just for doing what dogs normally do — and a reasonable person would simply have moved out of the way or moved the animal.”

However, when TMZ confronted Lahren in the LAX airport about the incident, she issued a quasi-denial, calling her remark a “joke.” She pushed back against those saying it was a case of actual animal abuse.

“I think people are pretty logical and they understand it was a joke,” Lahren said. “Anyone who knows me knows I love my dog more than anything in the world.”

She continued by suggesting the controversy was just over a “slow news day.”

Of course, this is far from the first time Lahren’s antics have riled-up the internet against her, as she previously suggested Black Lives Matter is like the KKK, got into a Twitter beef with rapper Wale — in which her nickname “Tammy” was born — and claimed to Trevor Noah that she does not see “color,” despite her racially divisive comments.
