Police Engage in a Spontaneous Dance-Off with Young Kids
With so much horrible news happening all over the world, it’s nice to have something cute as a brief pick-me-upper. A group of Missouri kids was playing, when two Kansas City police officers got out of their car and walked up to them. But what happened next was perhaps one of the most unexpected things a cop would ever do…
…engage in a dance-off.
Yes, two white Missouri police officers engaged in a dance-off with a group of young black kids. And quite frankly, their moves were rather unorthodox, to put it mildly.
The kids won, obviously, but one of the officers still enjoyed the time he had, saying, “When I first got hired on, I told them how I wanted to interact with the community and start to build rapport with the citizens because I feel like if we build rapport with them then they are more likely to call us when they need us.”
