Report: Hackers Also Obtained Sensitive U.S. Military Data
So remember how last week we found out hackers got access to lots of federal government data? Well, that wasn’t even the end of it, because anonymous government officials said that the China-linked hackers obtained sensitive military information.
According to the AP, the hackers obtained information that military officials have to put on Standard Form 86, like listing their foreign contacts, their Social Security number, their medical history and drug use, etc.
The information was all submitted by people seeking military clearance.
