Ruth Bader Ginsburg Doesn’t ‘Want to Think About’ Possibility of Trump Winning

ginsburgSupreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg may have perhaps shared a little too much in discussing the 2016 presidential election.

Ginsburg gave an interview to the Associated Press where she gave a line similar to something President Obama recently said (emphasis added): “It’s likely that the next president, whoever she will be, will have a few appointments to make.”

Yes, Ginsburg seems somewhat confident that Hillary Clinton will be the next President of the United States.

And while she didn’t get specific with any gripes she might have abouT Donald Trump, the Supreme Court justice said this:

“I don’t want to think about that possibility, but if it should be, then everything is up for grabs.”

There have been many questions about whether Ginsburg plans to retire soon, and whether her decision would be impacted by the election results.

Ginsburg also addressed the recent Supreme Court abortion case where her concurring statement earned her plaudits from liberals. She said, “It seemed to me it was a sham to pretend this was about a woman’s health.”
