Sarah Sanders Goes on Trumpian Screed Condemning ‘Corruption’ of ‘Ridiculous Witch Hunt’

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders seemed very much to be channeling President Donald Trump while addressing his morning tweet imploring Attorney General Jeff Sessions to pull the plug on the Russia probe.

In her first briefing since July 23, Sanders went on a Trump-ian screed condemning what the president referred to as the “Rigged Witch Hunt.”

“It’s not an order, it’s a president’s opinion.” Sanders said. “It’s ridiculous that all the corruption and dishonesty that’s gone on with the launching of the witch hunt. The president has watched this process play out. But he also wants to see it come to an end, as hes stated many times and we look forward to that happening.”
