Scandal Creator Slams Huckabee’s Comments: I Want Him to Wake Up ‘Having Suddenly Grown a Vagina’

Everyone’s had their say on Mike Huckabee‘s birth control comments today (even after initially having their say on what he didn’t say), but perhaps no one put their feelings more bluntly than Shonda Rhimes, the creator of ABC shows Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal, who said she’d love to see what Huckabee would have to say differently if he woke up tomorrow with a vagina.

Huckabee said that Democrats think women would be “helpless” and “can’t control their libido” unless they receive birth control from “Uncle Sugar,” the government. This is how Rhimes responded on her WhoSay page:

I want Mike Huckabee to wake up tomorrow having suddenly grown a vagina. Then I wanna deny his vagina proper medical care and birth control while making crazy statements about his libido. And see how he likes it.

Rhimes also had this fun Twitter exchange with someone who didn’t care for her salty language.
