Sen. Rand Paul To Obama: ‘Mr. President, Do You Have An Enemies List?’

Republican Senator Rand Paul joined other Republican lawmakers in attacking the National Labor Relations Board and the federal government for allegedly overexerting its power in the private sector. The NLRB filed a complaint against the Boeing Company for the company’s decision to open a factory in South Carolina rather than in Washington state where it already had unionized employees. Paul specifically held President Obama responsible for the complaint’s filing.

Rand, speaking at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, suggested Obama wants to move jobs out of South Carolina:

“I have a question for the president. Mr. President, do you have an enemies list? Is this decision based on the fact that South Carolina appears to be a Republican state, has two Republican senators? Is this decision based on the fact that South Carolina is a right-to-work state? Are they on your enemies list?”

Paul concluded Obama is playing politics with his economic decisions and declared “I find this appalling and I respectfully ask the president to immediately rescind this assault on business.”
