Seth Meyers Slams Trump For ‘Stealing Bits From Weekend Update’

On the comedy circuit last night, Late Night host Seth Meyers took aim at Donald Trump and his tough last few days.

“President Trump predicted he would pass Richard Nixon for most appearances on the cover of Time Magazine,” noted Meyers. “Hey dude, do you know why Nixon was on the cover so many times?”

Meyers also alluded to a recent Time Magazine interview in which the president noted that, “I can’t be doing so badly because I’m president and you’re not.”

Meyers then accused Trump of stealing his material from Saturday Night Live.

“I didn’t mind when you talked dirty with Billy Bush, or told Russia to hack Hillary’s emails. But when you start stealing bits from ‘Weekend Update’ anchors — it is on!” Meyers also underscored his point by playing a clip from Norm Macdonald saying “fake news” on Weekend Update.

“I hate to say this, but Donald, you ignorant slut,” said Meyers
