Sharon Stone Has Shared a Spoken Word Tribute to Maxine Waters

So, this is now a thing that exists. Sharon Stone posted a two-minute video to her Twitter account that pays tribute to Rep. Maxine Waters. The outspoken congresswoman recently made headlines for speaking out against President Donald Trump.

The video shows a reel of major moments for Waters, and over the footage, Stone says things like, “Say it loud, she’s black and we’re proud. / Disrespect will not be allowed.”

Last week, Waters was in the news when Bill O’Reilly said he didn’t “hear a word she said” during a speech she made because of her “James Brown wig.” O’Reilly (who now has bigger problems) later apologized for his words, and Waters refused to comment, except to say, “I’m a strong black woman. I cannot be intimidated. I cannot be undermined. I cannot be thought to be afraid of Bill O’Reilly or anybody.”

Watch the video above, which so far has been retweeted 114 times.
