There was a shooting incident earlier today in Ferguson, Missouri. One person was injured, and one of the people caught in the middle was a local politician who tweeted what had happened to her.
Assemblywoman Maria Chappelle-Nadal tweeted earlier today that shots were fired in her direction and she had to run for cover:

A St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter on the ground provided more details about the incident, including an eyewitness account that the shooting was carried out by eight black men dressed in black clothes:

Witness says at least 8 men all dressed in black got out of three cars and at least 3 of them started shooting at random.

Update- 10:37 pm: The Ferguson PD said later today the man shot and injured had died:
Male shot on parking lot in 1300 block of Sharondale in Ferguson has died. Please contact Ferguson Detective Bureau with information.
