Spicer on Trump’s Response to Steve King: ‘This Is Not a Point of View That He Shares’

Sean Spicer today addressed the uproar over comments by Congressman Steve King in the past few days about how “we can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.”

King’s remarks have been condemned by fellow Republicans, and despite what Paul Ryan said last night, King has made it clear he did not misspeak and people are just misunderstanding his comments.

This is what Spicer had to say about President Trump‘s response to King:

“The president believes that this is not a point of view that he shares. He believes he’s the president for all Americans, and so I’ll leave it at that.”
