Stormy Daniels Lawyer Michael Avenatti: ‘I Will Run’ If Trump Seeks Reelection

Michael Avenatti, the cable news-happy lawyer of porn star Stormy Daniels, said on Wednesday that if President Donald Trump seeks reelection in 2020, he will run against him.

“Be clear – only a street fighter has a chance at displacing the ‘King. Otherwise, this country and its principles will be in pieces and non-recognizable,” Avenatti first tweeted on Wednesday morning.

When a Twitter user asked if he was announcing his intention to run for president, Avenatti confirmed.

“IF (big) [Trump] seeks re-election, I will run, but only if I think that there is no other candidate in the race that has a REAL chance at beating him,” he wrote. “We can’t relive 2016. I love this country, our values and our people too much to sit by while they are destroyed.”

There you have it folks, Avenatti isn’t angling for a cable news show. He’s angling for the presidency. Stranger things have happened.
