Super Bowl Spot for Hot Tub Time Machine 2 Invokes DeflateGate

There will be at least one commercial airing during the Super Bowl that invokes the “DeflateGate” scandal, and it’s none other than a TV teaser for Hot Tub Time Machine 2.

If you’ve never heard of Hot Tub Time Machine, here’s a brief recap: four guys find a hot tub time machine, antics ensue. The sequel plans to take that premise and go balls-to-the-wall with it.

And speaking of balls…

Yes, there is somehow a brief moment of ball-inflation during the teaser that the filmmakers must have been thanking their lucky stars for when they heard about the NFL scandal.
