The New York Times Hints Trump May Be Too Broke to Campaign

Screen Shot 2016-06-20 at 11.04.27 AMThis morning, it came out that Corey Lewandowski is no longer employed by Donald Trump‘s campaign for President. Some sources have said that the inner working of the campaign are in complete disarray and that few people knew Lewandowski would be fired.

Also this morning, the New York Times released a little, eight-paragraph piece that implies that Trump might be broke. First, they reminded readers that Mitt Romney was broke at this point in 2012 and that polls showed a much closer race between Romney and President Barack Obama than there is between Trump and Hillary Clinton. Then, they wrote that Trump hasn’t released a paid ad since becoming the presumptive nominee on May 3.

What could be going on inside of that campaign?
