The Steve Jobs Action Figure Is Here Already Sold Out
For so many Americans, the holiday season is the time of year to sit by the Firefox browser and shop for iPods for the family (or, for the nephews and nieces you don’t love as much, an iTunes gift card). But those who are especially Apple-savvy have a different product on their wishlists: the Steve Jobs action figure, complete with a customizable speech bubble, an iPhone 4 and a really big head.
Like the toys Jobs sells, the Jobs toy sells expensively: $80, though the exorbitant price tag seems less when you come to realize how alarmingly detailed and realistic the handmade doll is. The miniaturized Apple CEO wears a black turtleneck, blue jeans, New Balance sneakers, and a smug smile, all of which should be familiar to anyone without a Zune. But, as Business Insider’s Jay Yarow sadly notes, the product has already sold out after having been for sale for only two days—just as Steve Jobs himself would have it.
For those who want what they can’t have, BI has a slideshow of the turtlenecked stocking stuffer.
