Things Escalated Quickly in Colbert’s Weeklong ‘Lunch with Stephen’ Series
Leave it to Stephen Colbert to take a weeklong “lunch” series on YouTube and go balls-to-the-wall insane with it. Over the course of the week, the YouTube page for Colbert’s upcoming Late Show posted short videos of Colbert having lunch with, well, you.
The premise is that Colbert gave people who eat lunch alone at their desks a buddy (him) to eat lunch with.
Or at least, that’s how it started out.
There’s really no way to describe this without giving away some of the surprise, but here’s an incredibly out-of-context tweet from the United States Fish and Wildlife Service:
@StephenAtHome We're watching you. Just remember.
