Three State Dept Officials Resign Following Report On Benghazi Attack
The State Department’s security chief, as well as two others, are resigning following the release of the Accountability Review Board’s report on the Benghazi attack, according to the Associated Press.
The report faulted “systemic failures” at senior levels within the State Department, and “grossly inadequate” security. It had not, however, singled out any individual officials who “breached his or her duty.”
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had thanked the board and accepted each of their recommendations.
