Trump Blames Obama for Russian Election Meddling: ‘Why Didn’t He Do Something?’

Reach for the sky, Barack Obama! Donald Trump of Star Command has his laser pointed right at you.
Tweeting once again about Russia meddling in the election – on which he has flip-flopped like a Slinky Dog in the wind – Trump called out Obama for not doing more to deal with the issue:
Obama was President up to, and beyond, the 2016 Election. So why didn’t he do something about Russian meddling?

“Obama was President up to, AND BEYOND [our emphasis], the 2016 Election,” Trump tweeted.
But the question is: Was Obama president to infinity?
Incidentally, intelligence pegged Russia as the culprit of election interference as early as October of 2016, at which point Obama called Russian President Vladimir Putin to issue censure and ordered a report into the matter. In other words: he did do something.
It seems like somebody’s poisoned the water hole at the White House as things go from bad to worse for the president; a new analysis by The New York Times claims that Trump is the worst president of all time, and a Washington Post article reveals that an aide said the deadly Florida shooting was a welcome “distraction” from the administration’s myriad problems.
Maybe Trump should try a new line of reasoning: This isn’t collusion. This is falling with style.
