Trump: Paul Manafort’s Lawyer Says We’re Innocent

President Donald Trump wasted little time, Monday morning, responding to the 12 count indictment issued against his former campaign manager, Paul Manafort. On Tuesday, the President was back at it on Twitter — this time proclaiming that he’s innocent…because Paul Manafort’s lawyer says so.
In a pair of Tuesday morning dispatches, Trump weighed in on the Manafort indictment and offered his first public comment on George Papadopoulos — the campaign aide who pleaded guilty to lying to FBI agents.
