Trump Seems to Suggest Top Democrat Lost Primary Because He Wasn’t ‘Nicer… to His President’
President Trump weighed in on the stunning primary loss of a top House Democrat today by suggesting maybe he should’ve been nicer to him:
Wow! Big Trump Hater Congressman Joe Crowley, who many expected was going to take Nancy Pelosi’s place, just LOST his primary election. In other words, he’s out! That is a big one that nobody saw happening. Perhaps he should have been nicer, and more respectful, to his President!

To recap, Rep. Joe Crowley (D- NY) lost his primary race to 28-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who ran on a platform that included abolishing ICE.
A lot of people are confused why Trump thinks being not pro-Trump enough was a factor in his loss. In a Democratic primary. In New York.
Pretty sure this is the wrong-est possible take on why Crowley lost -> https://t.co/FI18lJH5Gt

Pretty sure that @Ocasio2018 didn't win as the candidate who was nicer and more respectful to Trump https://t.co/3fbfMzhDob

Yeah, going out on a limb here, but not sure that's the takeaway from this upset. https://t.co/9slckg8k0K

Yes, Bronx and Queens voters surely voted against Joe Crowley because he wasn't nice enough to the president. https://t.co/r78WELPKF9
