Trump Thanks Fox Business Host Maria Bartiromo For Praising Him: ‘Thank You Maria B!’

This afternoon, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to thank Fox Business host — and Trump loyalist — Maria Bartiromo for writing a praiseworthy op-ed about his impact on the economy.

Following the publication of Bartiromo’s column, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted out a quote from the piece while adding a link to it.

Trump followed it up by letting “Maria B” know he appreciated the kind words she had for him:

And just in case it wasn’t clear to everyone that Trump was thanking Bartiromo for giving him credit for the surging stock market, the president tossed out this tweet a few minutes later:

Bartiromo has been one of the staunchest defenders of the president in the media. In recent months, she’s backed his stance on the national anthem and NFL protests, thought Trump’s response to Charlottesville was “excellent,” and claimed that there were no allegations of sexual misconduct made against him. Regarding her remarks about the accusations against the president, she would apologize for them by claiming she was taken “out of context” by the media. This came after she blocked several members of the media on Twitter for calling her out over the segment.
