Twitter Flips Out Over News of Another Don Jr. Trump Tower Meeting: He’s ’In a Lot of Trouble’
The news of Donald Trump Jr. having a second Trump Tower meeting lit up Twitter this afternoon, with people expressing shock while also speculating on what this could mean:
"The meetings are the first indication that countries other than Russia may have offered assistance to the Trump campaign in the months before the presidential election….Trump campaign officials did not appear bothered by the idea of cooperation with foreigners"
No collusion? https://t.co/PIqUtyjeeH

Hard to imagine how the FBI could justify conducting a counterintelligence investigation on
(squints)
a candidate whose son and advisers entertained offers of campaign help from multiple foreign governments and interests. https://t.co/k3yV7dUWTk— Nick Confessore (@nickconfessore) May 19, 2018
Astounding! Another example of likely criminality and collusion with foreign powers. That we can safely assume our Congressional leadership will not only ignore but run interference for this treachery shows just how completely our nation has been betrayed.https://t.co/eHnUO9f5Ad

Just to reflect on where we're at: Now, if someone references a Trump Tower meeting in which emissaries from a foreign government offered to help the Trump campaign win, there's a necessary clarifying question: "Which one?"https://t.co/ZRMYkII2G2

No shit: “But two people familiar with the meetings said that Trump campaign officials did not appear bothered by the idea of cooperation with foreigners.” https://t.co/zb2R2sMePW

i
A candidate’s son, an Israeli social media specialist, and an adviser to two Gulf crown princes walk into Trump Tower…
It sounds like the beginning of a bad joke.
But it actually appears to be another foreign offer to help Trump win the US election. https://t.co/psn5UqSRAJ

The meetings, which have not been reported previously, are the first indication that countries other than Russia may have offered assistance to the Trump campaign in the months before the presidential election. https://t.co/xK8AEpm0uA

This story is unreal. Reveals not just potential violations of election law, but how the corruption of Trump’s foreign policy began during the campaign. https://t.co/77EqHRyYQu

Erik Prince keeps turning up like a bad penny. His involvement is spooky.

Never go to a meeting Erik Prince is organizing seems like a good rule for people in politics https://t.co/tHIaxEdNXJ

A lot of the stories about George Nader have focused on what happened with him after the election — White House meetings and such. This, though, is the story lots of people have been trying to pull together and that I think is arguably more important: https://t.co/ygZHB6GOBI
