Twitter Flips Out Over Trump’s New North Korea-Tillerson Tweets: ‘Foolish and Irresponsible’

It renders him useless. What foreign government could take his word to mean anything? https://t.co/0HI5smM9Rz

Even or especially if we may really have to use force, mocking diplomatic efforts of your SecState is remarkably foolish and irresponsible. https://t.co/rWbABidsKr

If Tillerson is wasting his time, it’s only because his boss fails to understand the catastrophic consequences of war on Korean Peninsula. https://t.co/s3JQfLfNi4

When @realDonaldTrump publicly undercuts his Sec of State, it not only embarrasses Rex Tillerson, it confuses Americans & world leaders. https://t.co/R6noJvfoks

Does Tillerson not have a phone or something? https://t.co/xWKssIN3HH

Trump is responding to cable news coverage of Sanger's spin of Tillerson's meaningless comment. This is meta-fucked up. https://t.co/PSNf4mZ2GK

Good cop/bad cop? Or just Twitter improvisation on a matter related to nuclear war? https://t.co/YEjnwHIjfY
— Jeffrey Goldberg (@JeffreyGoldberg) October 1, 2017
Suggests that Trump and Tillerson did not consult on this BEFORE SecState launched his talks, which is pretty surprising… https://t.co/8yY2nQkboj

Sec. Tillerson should resign. Why put up with this bullshit? https://t.co/tdIvL2LTlG

Your reminder that when Tillerson is able to make progress on negotiations around the world, Trump will blow it all up with a single tweet. https://t.co/qPxxl9BPGJ

Trump wants war with North Korea. Does he know — or even care — that it might easily go nuclear? https://t.co/TlOWvLAojy

Is this how a President communicates with his Secretary of State? Unbelievable. https://t.co/KW0EMZiYO1

From these tweets, we can surmise Rex is trapped in a basement with access only to Twitter and a secure line to NK. https://t.co/eA8RqtJwT8

Seems like typical fine timing for Trump to declare war. https://t.co/pr0MEtX1oC

Please @jack @twitter kick him off. What do you think this is other than a direct threat of violence? pic.twitter.com/agxgGDh4dN

He's just giving him rope to hang himself and the rest of the planet with.
