Twitter Scorches Spacey’s Statement After Child Molestation Allegation: ‘Nope. Absolutely Not.’

Kevin Spacey is the latest public figure to be accused of sexual harassment.
On Sunday night, Buzzfeed reported that Spacey attempted to seduce actor Anthony Rapp when he was 14 years old.
Later on, the Academy Award-winner released a statement.

“I honestly do not recall the encounter… But if i did behave then as he describes I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior,” Spacey said.
He also took the opportunity to come out of the closet.
“As those closest to me know, in my life I have had relationships with both men and women,” he stated. “I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I chooses now to live as a gay man.”
Twitter wasn’t kind to his remarks.
Harvey Weinstein: “I’m going to fight the NRA!”
Kevin Spacey: “I’m gay!”
Same story different distractions….

Nobody cares that Kevin Spacey is gay. Everyone reasonably tuned into Hollywood knew that already.
People care that he may be a pedophile.

Moral of the story
1. Kevin Spacey is a child molester
2. He is trying to deflect using “drunk” and “so long ago”
3. Him being gay matters 0— George M Johnson (@IamGMJohnson) October 30, 2017
Remember when Kevin Spacey’s character DIDNT sleep with an underage girl in the worst movie ever to win an Oscar?

Y’all, Kevin Spacey didn’t just whip up that statement. He knew it was coming. You don’t report this without reaching out for a response.

This whole Kevin Spacey situation reminds me that queerness is still more shocking than sexual violence to far too many people.
