Watch CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Drink Wine and Dance in Total Not-Celebration of Hillary Clinton

Look, it’s true that journalists have to be impartial and live up to their professional standards, but we’re people too, and we need to cut loose sometimes.

Wolf Blitzer was anchoring during CNN’s coverage of the Democratic National Convention this week, and he attended the network’s afterparty with the rest of the staff when they closed up shop Thursday night following Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton‘s acceptance speech. ABC15 reporter Nick Ciletti and CBS Sports contributor Brad Gagnon were at the event as well, and they filmed two videos showing Blitzer drinking wine and dancing to “Sweet Caroline” next to Gloria Borger.

While this might seem innocent enough, The American Mirror, The Gateway Pundit, and Drudge Report portrayed the footage as Blitzer’s blatant celebration of Clinton’s nomination.

The Daily Caller received word from a CNN spokesperson about the video, who said that it was “absurd” to read anything more into the party than a chance for their workers to have fun and unwind after two weeks of wall-to-wall coverage.
