‘You’re Likelier to Get Struck by Lightning’ Than See Voter Fraud: Obama Shreds Trump’s ‘Dangerous’ Talk

imageedit_68_9244304008More than the “standard lie,” is how President Barack Obama just described Donald Trump‘s insistence that the election will be rigged against him and he may not accept the results if he doesn’t win on November 8. Obama tore into him for doing something that “undermines our democracy” and does “the work of our adversaries for them.”

Speaking at an event held for Hillary Clinton, he explained that it’s not fun to lose an election, but that the whole point of democracy is trusting in the will of the people.

He even shared statistics from a study that indicated that only 31 out of a billion or so votes were fraudulent.

“You are much likelier to get struck by lightning than to have somebody next to you commit voter fraud,” he said. “You’d win the Powerball.”

Finally, he asked the Floridians assembled why their Republican governor would conspire to get Clinton elected.
