50 Cent Jokes About Theater Episode After Social Media Goes Nuts Over Boebert Photo — Makes Crack About Chlamydia

Rapper and actor 50 Cent insisted on Wednesday that he was Chlamydia-free after meeting with Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and complimenting the congresswoman’s appearance.

During a trip to Capitol Hill on Wednesday, 50 Cent met with members of Congress on both sides of the aisle, including House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA).

It was the rapper’s flirty meeting with Congresswoman Boebert, however, which drew the most eyes on social media.

“Lauren Boebert, Colorado Republican making the white house look good 😏,” he tweeted, along with a photo of the two posing next to each other.

Boebert posted her own photo with the rapper, along with the caption, “I’d still love you if you flipped burgers at Burger King @50Cent, I used to do that myself! Thanks for the photo, great to meet you!”

Hours after the meeting, however, after several social media users joked that the two had hooked up, 50 Cent made a follow up post addressing their rendezvous.

“Wait, wait, guys i took pictures with everyone and all you seem to care about is Lauren,” he tweeted. “What did she do in a dark theater that hasn’t been done, my God ! Hey I don’t have chlamydia by the way. LOL.”

50 Cent’s remark about “a dark theater” was an apparent reference to Boebert’s controversial night out at Beetlejuice the musical in Denver, Colorado last year.

Boebert made headlines in September after she was kicked out of the musical for vaping, causing a disturbance, and engaging in other “unacceptable” behavior. The congresswoman received even more backlash after CCTV footage showed her and her date groping each other in their seats while the musical took place.
