Columbia Professor Loses It On AOC in Fox News Hit, Calls Her ‘Rabid Antisemite’ and ‘Agent of Chaos’

Columbia Business School professor Shai Davidai called Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) an “agent of chaos” and listed her as a “rabid antisemite” in a blistering response to her calling the police response to a campus protest “reckless.”

During a Wednesday interview on Fox News, Davidai called out Ocasio-Cortez and fellow critics of Israel’s strikes on Gaza, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and outspoken liberal actress Cynthia Nixon.

“AOC is agent of chaos,” the professor said about Ocasio-Cortez.

His response followed Davidai hosting a pro-Jewish rally to push back against antisemitism seen among protesters. The professor said he’s seen signs showing support for the terror group Hamas, which attacked Israel on Oct. 7 killing more than 1,000 and kidnapping hundreds more, as well Jewish students being specifically pointed out and targeted.

“I’m just looking forward to my kids and grandkids reading about this chapter in history and the list of all the rabid antisemites and to see her name there. This is not a peaceful protest, and she’s lying to the people just like Rashida Tlaib, just like Cynthia Nixon from Sex and the City, just The New York Times, they are lying to the people,” Davidai.

He also called on New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) to do more to address the protests. The mayor has also faced backlash from the other side of the debate. He was screamed at by pro-Palestinian activist on a flight this week.

Students have set up an encampment as part of their demonstration. After multiple warnings from the school, dozens of students were arrested, including the daughter of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MI).

Ocasio-Cortez wrote on X, formerly Twitter, this week that it is “reckless” having police involvement in the demonstration.

“Calling in police enforcement on nonviolent demonstrations of young students on campus is an escalatory, reckless, and dangerous act,” she wrote. “It represents a heinous failure of leadership that puts people’s lives at risk. I condemn it in the strongest possible terms.”

Davidai has been highly critical of Columbia’s leadership amid the ongoing protests. He claimed on Monday that his key card the main campus was deactivated. This prompted him to declare, “This is 1938.”
